Product Features Smooth brushed stainless housing with polished chrome and black accents Custom control: 6-setting browning dials, dual reheat, defrost and bagel buttons with LED indicators 1-1/2-inch wide toasting slots Extra-lift carriage lever Slide-out crumb tray Convenient cord wrap Instruction book Limited 3-year warranty Toasting Tips Toasting is a combination of cooking and drying of the bread. Therefore, differences in moisture level from one bread to another can result in varying toasting times. For slightly dry bread, use a lower setting than you normally would. For very fresh bread or whole wheat bread, use a higher setting than normal. Breads with very uneven surfaces (such as English muffins) will require a higher toast setting. Thickly cut pieces of bread (including bagels) will take longer to toast, sometimes significantly longer, since more moisture must be evaporated from the bread before toasting can occur. Very thick pieces may require two cycles. Cleaning and Maintenance Always allow the toaster to cool completely before cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleansers. Simply wipe the exterior with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Apply any cleansing agent to a cloth, not to the toaster, before cleaning. To remove crumbs, slide out the crumb tray and discard crumbs. Wipe clean and replace. Never operate the toaster without the crumb tray in place. To remove any pieces of bread remaining in the toaster, turn the toaster upside down and gently shake. Never insert any hard or sharp instruments into the slot, as this could damage the toaster and cause a safety hazard. Never wrap the cord around the outside of the toaster. Use the cord storage cleats on the underside of the toaster. Product Dimensions The Cuisinart 2-Slice Metal Classic Toaster measures approximately 10.75″ x 7.13″ x 7.13″. The 4-Slice Metal Classic Toaster measures approximately 11.15″ x 10.65″ x 7.5″. Warranty The Cuisinart Metal Classic Toaster has a limited 3-year warranty. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs

I think this is Best toaster I’ve ever used!
I’m in my 70s and I’ve used many many toasters. The toasting area is large and toasts quickly. It has my favorite “Bagel setting”, which works very well. I give this toaster an A+

Great design from the 1990s.
Great toaster. We bought our first one of this design in 1993. This new one is just a good as the original . Why change when it just plain works, making perfect toast every time.

What a great toaster!
Already have used it three times and it has toasted bread, English muffins, and waffles to your perfection. This toaster is solidly built love the stainless steel, classic look, and being that it’s not digital is key, because they tend to fail out after a couple years.Toaster is slightly larger than your typical four slotted toaster. So make sure that you have room for this if you’re stowing it away in a cabinet. The size does matter if you have a small kitchen. Some mainly put it on the countertop where others put it away. Luckily, we have the room, but I had to move and shift some things around the cabinet in order to stow it away properly.Heats up quick, does a phenomenal job. We have a few of the Cuisinart Brands. Some have been wonderful, and some not that great….As of now, it’s a hit. Paddles are solid, locks down easily when dropping the bread in the slots without shoving it down to make sure your items are toasted evenly. Lots of room for Texas toast and browns easily without having to hit the cycle twice. If you set it properly, it will toast it right one time.,,Not much more else to say. Great value! Good Luck!

Not as nice as the one I bought 6 years ago
I got this because it looks exactly like the original cpt-180bks model I bought six years ago, and that one gave us 5 years of flawless service but unfortunately now one side is not working properly. The finish of this one is not nearly as nice. That old one is now a Black stainless model but in 2018 it was shiny stainless. I have no idea if it is the same quality as the 2018 model but I doubt it.This CPT-180P1 does not have the same quality stainless steel as the 2018 model but instead has some thinner stainless with a speckled kind of look to it which does not show up clearly in the listing. Everything feels a cheaper than the original when I hold them side by side.It does work and it does toast the bread fairly evenly, but I am going with 4 stars just based on the drop in quality along with a higher price tag.

Toast does not stay down
I love the Cuisinart rand! Everything I own in my kitchen is made by them!! But this toaster is weird in that I put the toast in and then I have to push down on the knob at least 4 times to get the toast to stay down. Aldo it does not toast that evenly. This toaster is 20% of the quality of other brand items. I say chose another toaster!

Poor Quality compared to Same model from 2007
I had the exact same toaster from 2007 that just went out in 2024 on one side. The look is exactly the same. I expected the same great quality from Cuisinart, but I got this one and was very disappointed. The original had firm and easy gliding control; the new one has flimsy controls that are hard to get to lock into place. When done the old one just gently released upward all the way; the new one does not release all the way more than 50% of the time, so I have to manually pull the control upwards and/or reach in for my bread. There were no sounds in the old one; the new one just has a flimsy rattling sound as you touch the controls. It toasts fine, as to whatever I have it set at and looks great, but that is all I have good to say about this high end brand that has lost its way to meet up with the cheap brands.

Awesome 4 slice toaster
This is my second Cuisinart 4 slice toaster; I love how quickly the toast heat up and the options on toasting bagel, reheat & defrost

We’re really happy with how this toast slices evenly — and it’s super fast! Toast settings depend on the amount of sugars in what you’re toasting (middle setting for regular bread slices, less for bagels, a bit more for English muffins, etc.), but really easy quickly find what setting works best.Left side setting differs from right side, but always consistent results for each individual side (in our case, middle setting to do regular toast on the right side, and a a little lower on the left for the same thing — but always very consistent each time). Very good price, quick delivery, works great and looks great on the counter!

I was a bit in the fence about buying this toaster at first. My family does eat a lot of bread and with a full house, a 2 slice toaster at some point no longer works. I like Cuisinart and have a few kitchen items at home that we use on a frequent basis which led me to purchase this 4 slice toaster. The retro old school look was a definite plus and a nice addition to our kitchen. It’s so convenient for starters and the ability to put bagels is such a game changer. The defrost button works beautifully and toasts the bread nice and evenly. The lever is so soft to press and you don’t need to force and apply any pressure. The brush stainless steel is such a nice look. It’s nostalgic to say the least and I kinda enjoy seeing and having Companies invest in these timeless classics. I just pray it’s as good as when I grew up. Amazing toaster overall. Thanks for reading from your “Unfluential Influencer”.Happy Shopping.

I like the size. It toasts really well. I am now enjoying my toast and bagel.

Works very well – even has a setting for items that are frozen – this setting ensures that the frozen waffle/bread slices unfreezies and then toasts as ayou like it.

I purchased this toaster, in early January, while I was recovering from knee surgery. I purchased this model as I thought it was identical to the Cuisinart Toaster, I have had for around 8 – 10 years, which had just stopped working. Although it is exactly the same in appearance, it is very different. It is a very light weight( in comparison) version that hardly works at all. The levers have to be pushed down numerous times before they hold. The bread toasts completely uneven. Sometimes one side is nearly burnt and the other side of the bread is barely brown. Sometimes only the top half of the bread is toasted. Sometimes at a very low number, the toast will be burnt! This is an expensive toaster, in comparison to others on the market and it should do a proper job of toasting bread! I have purchased Many Cuisinart products in the past, but if this is an indication of the workmanship, and quality of their current products, it will be the last time. I missed the return window due to my surgery recovery, but it would positively been returned, if possible. Only one star cause it would not let me submit without a rating. Should be-5.
