    Pan is awesome
Needed an oversize pan for Christmas eve dinner. Italians celebrate with the feast of 7 fishes. Family has 10 fish eaters. Menu included 10 lobster tails, 1-1/2lb gulf shrimp, jumbo scallops, mussels, little neck clams… I know that’s only 5. Sauced with lots of garlic, white wine and fresh herbs.Pan fit all the ingredients, cooked perfect with no hot spots, well balanced handle that stays cool, with a helper handle for the heft…it looks gorgeous and cleans up well. If you have need of a really big pan you should buy this Cuisinart pan. (Since that meal I cooked up a Moroccan chicken, and yesterday for the NFL playoffs a 4-1/2lb pork roast green chili dish, browning the pork on my Coleman stove and finished cooking in my grille) Big Pan for a big meal… Love it.

    Perfect,
Cooks as advertised, not too heavy, handle stays cool. And clean up is soooo easy. And the price is so low when compared to similar products Love it!

    Great pan
Nice little skillet. Heavy bottomed and flat which is essential for even heat distribution. Those who complain about sticking have never used anything but non-stick cookware. Get your pan up to heat, add a bit of oil, then cook your food. I’ve never had a problem with this pan.

Good value, but check out the MultiClad version
We were looking for a good stainless steel 8” fry pan, and the leader, the All-clad 3-ply 18/10 SS product is just a little too expensive for us, so Cuisinart seemed to offer good quality stainless at the lower price point (while still being 3-ply and at least 18/8 SS. That said, Cuisinart appears to offer a few choices of product lines. Other than price, I could not assess the quality and design of the pans, so I bought the three choices offered: the ‘Cuisinart MultiClad Pro 8-inch’ (about $30), the ‘Cuisinart Professional Stainless Skillet, 8-Inch’, (about $23) and the ‘Cuisinart 722-20 8-Inch Chef’s-Classic-Stainless-Cookware-Collection, 8″ (at about $21), Open Skillet’. The Professional and the Classic pans appear to be approximately the same build quality, except the handle of the Professional is more substantial ergonomically (more comfortable), and of a hollow construction – keeping it lightweight. The Classic handle was more of a cast or pressed bar (still pretty good compared to many other pans I have ever held), but clearly the Professional has an advantage in this aspect. The pan ‘build’ of these two pans appears to be a thinner gauge stainless (compared to the MultiClad), with an aluminum / stainless ply bottom somehow bonded to the bottom (a common construction of pan I observe – probably a more economical build). The Multiclad pan is a seamless, contiguous molded or pressed shape; the sides are clearly thicker than the other two. The weights of the pans I measured to be 24.2oz for the “professional’, 21.2oz for the Classic, and 29.6oz for the MultiClad. Since I only kept the Multiclad, I only tried cooking with this model, and it’s excellent. i think all three pans are great, well-made pans (for the money), but clearly the Multiclad is the best one.

    Great pan!
Love this pan! Used Olive oil when cooking and my food did not stick. Easy to clean as well!

    Fantastic pan
Virtually non-stick, this is an excellent pan for omelettes or sautéing vegetables. Heats evenly, holds the heat well, cleans up effortlessly.

    incredibly nice small skillet
Skillet is a good weight, stainless steel cookware. It looks gorgeous and cooks well. The handle is very secure. I got this at a sensible same day price and am considerably impressed enough that I was looking at other pieces of this style even if I do not need a whole set. It is also reasonable to clean. One can expect some food stains, but stainless does not mean that it will not stain but rather, with reasonable means, stains can be removed with common household products like barkeeper’s friend, then thoroughly rinsed and even displayed in the kitchen. I used it to braise some chicken, potatoes and green beans, then cleaned it–almost pretty enough to be a Christmas ornament.

    Large and Classic
This was my first time using a stainless steel skillet and it was great but there already was a residue that doesn’t seem to want to wash off. I have to learn how to properly keep it shiny always. Loved it otherwise.

  12. Honestly Yours

Really glad that I bought this frying pan, as it is much better than the ceramic non-stick frying pans that I had bought before. The non-stick coating on the ceramic pans kept coming off the more that I used them. In the end the ceramic pans were all scratched up on the bottom. Although I did pay more for this stainless steel frying pan, it was well worth the cost, as I know that this pan will last me for the rest of my life. It is of good quality, so I bought the 8″ frying pan as well. Easy to use with a small amount of margarine and very easy to clean. This 10″ size is great for cooking two uncoated chicken burgers, which I cut up and put on top of a mixed salad. Really glad that I bought it and glad that I chose the Cuisinart brand, as it seems to be a good quality brand without being really expensive.

  13. Amazon Customer

this was an excellent choice over the cheaper brands. 1/4 thick bottom and stainless pan. Cleans up great and use it on a new glass top stove. Yes, I’ll be buying another when the time comes.Cheers
